Paper: Strathmore 400 Printmaking paper.
Ink: Caligo Safe Wash Relief Ink, Speedball Professional relief ink
Three different blocks were used to create this print. First I printed the background using Caligo Safe wash relief ink after that layer completely dried I utilized the reduction method to print the greys of the skull. The reduction method is done by carving portions of the plate away between printings in order to differentiate color or tone. I then Printed the black Layer using a third plate. This time using Speedball super Graphic Black ink.
This is a hand made item. While consistency of the edition is the goal there are however slight variations between individual prints making each on truly unique.
The photos are for demonstration purposes. The prints are sold unframed.
